Amococo

Well, I'm a little sad...
The Adelaide Fringe, the Adelaide Festival and WOMADelaide have come and gone for another year {these festivals are my excuse for my lack of posts recently} What a busy March it has been!

Brett and I spent the last day of the Fringe at Amococo {well not the whole day but 2 hours waiting in line and 20 minutes inside.} What is Amococo? Read more here but essentially it's a giant balloon made from coloured and reflective "tent" material which is lit naturally completely by the sun that you can walk through / sit in / be amazed by...

It was AMAZING and definitely worth the time spent waiting in line with some not-so-patient people!

What else did we get up to during the festivals? Tripod vs the Dragon, Ross Noble, This is a Play, Tuxedo Cat, Fringe Opening Night Parade & Concert, Festival Opening Night, Festival Garden, Garden of Unearthly Delights, Josh Earl vs The Australian Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Cookbook, Northern Lights, Akmal & WOMAD for a day.

Phew! Resting up now for next year!

In other news, we've just got back from the opening of This is a Play.

We {B and I} thought it was quite interesting in a satirical way and quite funny!

And I lived it this weekend!

Friday night was 10 years since B and I had our first date, so we celebrated with a gorgeous dinner at Chianti {yum} followed by Tripod and the Dragon {hilarious} followed by Drinks at The Treasury and The Hilton {also yum}

Saturday was spent dancing, listening, sinking, drinking, talking and eating at WOMADelaide {fantastic}

Sunday was spent celebrating my Nanna's 83rd birthday and enjoying the gorgeous rain and today is a public holiday! I can't imagine a better weekend!

Hope you had a lovely one too!!
