Engraving History...

"To acknowledge the property's history, the couple pressed the names of every owner, from the Algonquin people beyond, on the south side of the structure... The original floorboards accompany the stamped list of property owners."

What a ceiling!

I love timber battens, especially on the ceiling.
Check out this place...
I love the warmth the timber gives,
I love the organic shapes the timber forms,
but most of all
I love how the air conditioning, the lights and the sprinkler heads have been concealed!

Great Crates!

I think these would make a lovely gift. These crates are made of FSC {Forestry Stewardship Council} timber and are personalised to suit to recipient. They can even come with castors {for rolling around with ease} and would make a great gift when supplied with plants, soil, gloves, tools and other gardening paraphernalia.

White and Timber Credenzas

We're still planning our renovations.
In fact I really should be drawing up plans but instead I'm "researching palettes"
We will restore the oak floorboards and this will form one of the most prominent features
So it will be white, white, white, charcoal and bronze
I'm thinking any of these lovely credenzas would feel right at home...

A Big Recycled Rabbit

Imagine the sporadic surprise if you turned an urban corner and were confronted with...

"The Giant of Vlaardingen
2002- 2003
8 x 10,5 x 5,5 meters
Salvaged wood, nails and screws

It took three months to build to a sculpture out of salvaged wood, with the assistance of local people. The sculpture is an assemblage, and although the quality of the wood was poor, it stood on three locations!"
